a career in the travel industry, Cheryl became interested
in heath matters that could be treated naturally. She decided
to train as a Homeopath after being successfully cured of
sinusitis and chronic fatigue through homeopathy. She came
to see it as an aid to cure other ailments and promote a sense
of well being without the use of harmful drugs. With a young
family, she was particularly interested in how it could be
used to treat the common childhood illnesses and allergies
that they experienced in a natural and holistic way without
the use of potentially harmful drugs.
Her interest in Homeopathy led her further into the mind/body
connection inspiring her to explore other therapies. This
resulted in training in Reiki and other natural therapies.
To this end she is qualified to practice with the Australian
Bush Flower Essences, which are used either on their own or
alongside Homeopathy, and Kinesiology, which is a muscle testing
technique used to test for food sensitivities. Finally having
trained in Indian Head Massage, Cheryl offers this as an instant
de-stressing technique which gently relaxes all tensions and
stiffness from the head, neck and shoulders. A natural interest
in healthy eating and taking supplements to support ones health
led her to the range of glyconutrients and nutritional supplements
that she takes and advocates as necessary to maintain optimal
health and energy levels.
She has completed extensive post graduate training in Homeopathy,
and is an active member of the homeopathic community which
enables her to keep abreast of any developments in the Homeopathic
arena.
She graduated in 1998 from Purton House School of Homeopathy,
which is accredited by the Society of Homeopaths, and is registered
member of the Society which offers full insurance and requires
its members to undertake continuous professional development
every year.
Cheryl has also completed a counselling skills training course
and is interested in personal development coaching, having
experienced its benefits for herself. She is passionate about
how Homeopathy can help in the multitude of illness and complaints
that the human race endures. Her aim is to empower clients
to reach their full potential in health, take control over
their health before it takes control of them and get the most
from life.
